The pre-shrunk fabric has a stain-resistant finish, and the size selection includes square, rectangular and round options for different tables.

“Blue checks give me plenty of pattern without elaborate china. The team develops its own designs, drawing on the useful forms of European vintage kitchens rather than simply reproducing an ornamental look. Its work with a family of artisans in India brings handmaking into those designs, with small variations that remain visible in the finished pieces. Gathered textile edges, embroidered botanical details and warm copper or brass give practical objects a presence of their own. The pleasure is in choosing something useful whose smallest details have also been considered.
