Hand-polished aluminum alloy supplies a silver-colored border around a 5-by-7-inch photograph, with an overall size suited to a desk or bedside. The shape can sit comfortably beside books, clear glass or a small piece of patterned china.

“Bamboo is a detail I enjoy most in small amounts. One metal frame can suggest a garden room, while the photograph keeps the arrangement personal and the polished surface brings a little light.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Product Details

Material: Aluminum alloy.

Dimensions: Overall: 6 L × 8 W × 1 H in. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.

In the frames, the same attention to a shaped edge gives a personal photograph a considered setting. The metal surround is decorative in its own right without needing to dominate the image.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0286/3244/9099/files/7884_1_cb063294-2899-4ddf-990e-fc34f8dade24.jpg?v=1772999943
https://www.themayfairhall.com/products/garden-bamboo-polished-metal-picture-frame-by-beatriz-ball-5-x-7-in
