Jørgen Bækmark balances a broad lounge-chair footprint with an airy woven paper-cord seat, avoiding the heaviness of a fully upholstered chair. In this finish, the clean lines and angled construction become more emphatic, making the piece a considered accent for a library or sitting room.

“Black furniture can be wonderfully helpful when a room has many pale surfaces and soft textiles. I would put this J82 beside an upholstered sofa to give the seating group a clear graphic edge, with the woven cord keeping the contrast natural rather than severe.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Product Details

Jet Black painted beech frame with paper cord seat

33.3″ H × 30.3″ W × 25.6″ D; seat height approximately 15.2″

Designed by Jørgen Bækmark

Curated by Rosendahl

Care & Ownership

Dust the wood with a soft cloth.
