Rather than matching a single wood tone, the figure draws on mixed residual woods, so the assembled surfaces vary naturally from one bear to another. The medium-scale form retains the gentle humor of the original animal design, while an anniversary mark and wooden presentation box distinguish this edition. Its character comes from the wood as much as the silhouette, making it an engaging piece for a shelf or cabinet.

“What I enjoy about this bear is that it reveals the differences between woods instead of trying to disguise them. I would give it a place among books and smaller collected objects, where its shifting tones can be appreciated slowly. It is playful, but not disposable decoration.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Product Details

Mixed residual wood; natural variation

9.8″ H × 6.3″ W × 4.1″ D

Medium edition; 70th-anniversary paw marking; wooden presentation box included

Curated by Rosendahl

Care & Ownership

Dust with a dry, soft cloth.
