Their broad scalloped rims soften the outline of each bowl, while the uninterrupted wood grain lends a welcome natural texture to the setting.

The two sizes nest neatly for storage, yet they are equally appealing displayed apart. The larger bowl provides a handsome setting for fruit or a casual centerpiece; the smaller is well suited to nuts, rolls or the little things that gather on a sideboard. Subtle differences in carving and grain distinguish one handcrafted piece from another.

"I like a bowl that can come straight from the cupboard to the center of a table and look entirely at home. The scallops give these pieces a little ceremony without sacrificing their simple, everyday usefulness."

-Mrs. Mayfair

Product Details

Material: Hand-carved mango wood in gray finish

Dimensions & Quantities: Large bowl, 10 in long × 10 in wide × 2.5 in high; small bowl, 8 in long × 8 in wide × 2 in high; set of 2

Design & Use: Nesting scalloped bowls suitable for serving and decorative display

Made in India

Care & Ownership

Handwash gently with mild soap and water, without soaking. Mehta and Sonali Mehta Rao to connect traditional Indian craft communities with contemporary homes. Its work with more than 3,500 artisans reflects a sustained interest in preserving hand skills while bringing their results into everyday domestic life.

Within its carved-wood collections, the pleasure lies in the evidence of handwork: considered silhouettes, carefully finished surfaces and the natural variation of timber.
