Its gently rounded profile is a reminder of the enduring usefulness of traditional provincial pottery.

The former Poterie Renault manufacture was known for practical salt-glazed stoneware, and this oval vessel carries that domestic heritage with restraint. Its earthy finish works beautifully against white porcelain and plain table linen without needing decorative embellishment.

“There is a particular warmth to a piece of pottery that has already lived another life. For me, this modest oval dish belongs among plain china and linen, where its brown glaze lends depth without competing for attention. That is how vintage pieces become part of the household.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Product Details

Material: Salt-glazed stoneware

Capacity: 40.6 fl oz

Curated by Be Home

Made in France

Care & Ownership

Hand wash in warm water with mild soap and a soft sponge, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
