The silver-colored aluminum-alloy form offers a 10.25-inch serving width with a six-inch rise, making fruit or a shared dish easier to see among lower pieces. It can also stand as a sculptural bowl between meals.

“A raised bowl can make fruit feel part of the room rather than something left on the counter. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0286/3244/9099/files/8749_1_f9c0eee7-d065-447f-b3ce-dfc8a6d157cf.jpg?v=1772999946
https://www.themayfairhall.com/products/vintage-vienna-polished-metal-pedestal-serving-bowl-by-beatriz-ball-large
