From the Desk of Mrs. Mayfair | The Edit
Bonjour,
Mid-February always carries a particular energy, doesn’t it? The light lingers just a bit longer, and suddenly we begin thinking ahead — to open windows, fresh linens, and the first proper dinner outside.
This week we introduced Botanical Heritage, a collection inspired by cultivated countryside living — softened greens, thoughtful patterns, pieces that feel as though they’ve always belonged in the room. Not rustic. Not precious. Simply assured.
We also began preparing for our outdoor furniture arrivals (just scroll down on the New Arrivals page). The new garden pieces coming in feel substantial — the sort of furniture that anchors a terrace properly. If you are even thinking about spring hosting, now is the moment to begin planning. The women who entertain beautifully never wait until April.
I watched a beautiful documentary called Finding Harmony - A King's Vision. It brings to light the importance of reuniting humanity with nature. If you are choosing something thoughtful to watch this week, I do recommend it.
And yes, since so many of you have asked, I’ve added beauty and wardrobe pieces to my brand new ShopMy page this week, it reminded me of my Fashion Director days. Currently there: Spring/Summer Country Wardrobe, My Favorites in Beauty, Classic New York Wardrobe and more.
This week we’ll begin speaking about early Easter tables (just a hint), the outdoor corner worth restoring before guests return, one small home adjustment that quietly elevates daily life plus the Spring Collection launch comes on Thursday!
You are here because you notice these things. Because you care about the way a room feels when you enter it. Because details matter to you.
And I am very glad you are part of this world.
Mrs. Mayfair
