Margão Porcelain Large Oval Platter by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Margão large oval porcelain platter carries cobalt floral sprigs across a broad white surface. Its elongated shape gives a shared main course a defined outline within a coordinated blue-and-white service.
“An oval platter belongs to those meals where the main course arrives whole and is shared at the table. I imagine this blue floral one becoming part of that familiar Sunday ritual.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
