Ornament Porcelain Salad Bowl by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A broad round body gives the Ornament porcelain salad bowl a generous serving presence. White-on-white relief brings Sam Baron’s architectural design to the rim while leaving the center clear for the food.
“White relief can join a richly patterned table without losing its own character. I would enjoy this bowl among colored glasses, floral plates and linen with a story of its own.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
