Abstract No. 224 by Nivas Kanhere is an archival giclée canvas print built from atmospheric layers of gray, sage, and softened neutrals. Dragged marks and quiet tonal shifts give the composition depth and movement, creating a surface that changes subtly as the eye moves across it.
Nivas Kanhere is an award-winning contemporary Indian painter whose abstract work grows from his observations of landscape, nature, and lived experience. Raised in Kumbhej in Maharashtra and formally trained in art in Pune and Mumbai, he uses painting as a language for translating memory and surroundings into color, movement, and atmosphere.
