Gently vacuum the wool face at low suction through a protective screen; avoid a rotating brush or pulling at worn areas. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Have staining or deeper cleaning treated by a professional experienced with antique wool rugs and delicate dyes. Do not machine wash or soak the rug face. Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight, rotate occasionally and store completely dry in a breathable cover. Follow the insert’s care label for separate cleaning.
Maker / Heritage
Canvello’s family business spans three generations, with its roots in the rug trade. That textile knowledge carries into its pillows: aged rug surfaces are preserved as usable fragments, while patterned cloth is chosen for the relationship between color, weave and scale. Its antique rug pillows give sections of twentieth-century wool rugs a new domestic use, preserving worn pile, subtle color changes and parts of larger floral compositions. The rug-pillow construction is completed in the United States.
