Aquarelle Pink Blue and Green Glass All-Purpose Goblets by Beatriz Ball - Set of 4
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Pink, blue and green segments bring a watercolor-like palette to the Aquarelle all-purpose goblets. Fluting and jewel-like stem details give the artisan-made glass a lively outline for wine, water or a favorite mixed drink. Four matching pieces provide a coordinated set while the individual making allows small variations in the glass.
“The three colors make this a cheerful glass before anything has been poured. I would give it a plain companion plate, so the colored stem and bowl remain the small pleasure of each setting.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Aquarelle takes its cue from watercolor tints, combining fluting and jewel-like details with contrasting colors. The glasses are made by artisans one at a time for a table with a little playfulness.
