Artemis Chevron Bone Hinged Double Picture Frame by Matr Boomie — Two 5 × 7 in Photos
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The Artemis hinged double frame brings two pictures into gentle conversation. Its small chevron-pattern bone tiles give the paired openings a thoughtfully worked border, while the hinge allows the frame to stand open like a favorite book.
It makes a beautiful place for two generations of portraits, a pair of wedding photographs or complementary moments from the same afternoon. The hinged construction is a practical distinction: this is one double frame designed to hold two separate 5 × 7 inch pictures.
"A pair of photographs often tells more than either could on its own. I appreciate the intimacy of this hinged frame and the disciplined chevron pattern, which lends the arrangement a considered finish."

Care & Ownership
Dust the inlaid or carved surround with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a barely damp cloth on the frame and dry promptly; avoid soaking, abrasive cleaners and prolonged moisture. Clean the glass separately with a soft cloth, keeping glass cleaner away from natural bone, horn and inlay.
Maker / Heritage
Founded by Manish Gupta and Ruchi Agrawal, Matr Boomie began in 2006 as Handmade Expressions and adopted its present name in 2013. Based in Austin, the design company works in partnership with artisan communities in India, bringing established craft traditions to objects intended for daily use.
Its picture frames reflect the patient skills of inlay and hand-carving, where small differences in natural material and handwork give each piece its individual character. The work combines practical modern fittings with the knowledge of the craftspeople who make the decorative surrounds.
