Artichoke Deep Stoneware Serving Tray by Vagabond House
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Artichoke-shaped pewter handles flank the oval white stoneware of this deep serving tray. Its raised sides give vegetables, salads or side dishes a defined serving area, with the sculpted foliage carrying the kitchen-garden theme into the tableware.
“For a shared vegetable course, I look for a little containment. The raised sides make sense here, while the white center leaves the food in full view.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Support the body or base when carrying a filled piece.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
