Artichoke White Stoneware Serving Tray by Vagabond House - 19 in.
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Curved handles decorated with pewter artichokes rise above the white center of this stoneware serving tray. Double glazing and two firings give the stoneware its finish, with the sculpted vegetable details making the handles part of the presentation.
“The raised handles give this tray much of its presence. My arrangement would leave both artichoke branches in view, with the serving dish kept comfortably inside their reach.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Support the body or base when carrying a filled piece.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
