Ava Fern Embroidered Napkins by Flying Sheep Country - Set of 4
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Fern Ava napkins give green a rich, leafy presence at each place, relieved by white embroidery and a dotted scalloped edge. The cotton-blend set of four offers a clear accent beside plain china or a patterned tablecloth.
“Fern is the green I would bring toward cream rather than another strong color. That combination gives the white embroidery room to register and lets a few stems of foliage finish the setting.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Blot spills promptly. Hand wash in cold water with a detergent intended for delicate fabrics; do not bleach. Support the embroidery while rinsing, then hang to dry. Use a warm iron as needed, pressing from the reverse over a clean towel so the stitched detail is not flattened. Store clean and fully dry, without tightly creasing the embroidered edge.
Maker / Heritage
Flying Sheep Country grew from the Maitland sisters’ British roots and their lives in Westport, Connecticut, and Sydney. Their eye combines the freely growing patterns of Indian block prints with the more defined outlines of European-style embroidery. The block-printed linens are made with hand-carved wooden blocks by Indian artisans, leaving small variations that belong to the process. In the embroidered designs, shaped edges, dotted borders and fan-like scallops give each place its own frame. Even the name holds a private family reference: childhood drives through the Cotswolds, spotting sheep along the country roads.
