Hand wash with mild soap and a soft cloth, rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not leave the marble soaking or use acidic cleaners such as vinegar or lemon. Lift and store carefully to protect the stone and surrounding work surfaces from chips and knocks.

Founded in Woodstock, Vermont, in 2012, Farmhouse Pottery brings a working potter’s eye to everyday housewares. Founder James Zilian’s training in ceramics and years designing for Simon Pearce inform the restrained shapes; English studio pottery and the Japanese idea of wabi-sabi inform an affection for visible process and small variations. The signature Silo forms take their lines from Vermont’s farm silos, pairing white glaze with revealed clay. From that starting point, the collection extends into complementary tools and textiles, chosen to make a useful, tactile whole at home.
