A softly weathered white patina settles into the surface of this hand-thrown terra cotta planter, giving a new planting the ease of an established garden. Its gently tapered shape suits a kitchen herb or a larger leafy specimen, with six sizes and the choice of a matching tray. A drainage hole lets excess water escape; the handmade surface varies from pot to pot.

Care & Ownership
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Bring indoors for winter in cold climates; porous terra cotta can crack when trapped moisture freezes. Keep the drainage hole clear and empty standing water from the tray. Protect furniture beneath both pot and tray, and lift from the base when moving. Clean gently with a soft brush and water; avoid abrasive scrubbing of the hand-applied finish.

Designed by Bloomist and hand-thrown by artisans in Sabanagrande, Honduras. The matching Basic trays are made by Atuto, the workshop group led by former Peace Corps volunteer Holland Millis, whose work with Honduran craftspeople spans decades.
