Care & Ownership
Dishwasher safe on the top rack with a gentle cycle, or hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Microwave, freezer and oven safe. Avoid severe thermal shock: allow gradual changes in temperature and let hot pieces cool before washing. Protect glazed surfaces from abrasive pads, and place a soft separator between stacked plates or bowls where needed.
Maker / Heritage
La Rochère has worked glass in the Haute-Saône region of France since 1475. In its pressed-glass collections, a two-part mold forms the relief patterns and leaves the fine seam that is part of their recognizable character. The pieces cool gradually in an annealing oven before being inspected by hand for clarity, balance and consistency. That combination of a long-established glassworks and a practical approach to manufacture gives its tableware a particular appeal: decoration formed into the object itself, designed to take part in daily meals rather than remain behind a cabinet door. This Bee ceramic piece extends the French design into dinnerware made in Portugal.
