Bee Pressed Glass Whiskey Tumblers by La Rochère
Raised bees and a substantial clear base give these whiskey tumblers their restrained decoration. Made in France, the low glasses suit whiskey, bourbon or a short cocktail, with four- and six-pack options whose individual measurements are set out below.
“The bee gives a plain whiskey glass just enough detail for me. I would leave room for the drink and ice to move rather than fill the glass to its rim.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Dishwasher safe; use the top rack on a gentle cycle and leave space between rims and stems. Use mild detergent, or hand wash with warm water and a soft sponge. For mineral spots, rinse briefly with warm water and a little white vinegar, then rinse well and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Microwave use is limited to brief reheating, up to 90 seconds; do not use boiling liquids or take glass directly between hot and cold conditions. Store with rims protected from knocks.
Maker / Heritage
La Rochère has worked glass in the Haute-Saône region of France since 1475. In its pressed-glass collections, a two-part mold forms the relief patterns and leaves the fine seam that is part of their recognizable character. The pieces cool gradually in an annealing oven before being inspected by hand for clarity, balance and consistency. That combination of a long-established glassworks and a practical approach to manufacture gives its tableware a particular appeal: decoration formed into the object itself, designed to take part in daily meals rather than remain behind a cabinet door.
