Bienville Cane-Back Linen Dining Chair by Ave Home
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A rectangular cane back distinguishes this Bienville dining chair from its fully upholstered companion. Hand-carved floral details frame the open weave, while a white Libeco™ linen seat softens the Mindi wood form. The Natural Light Oak color keeps the wood and cane visually connected.
“I would choose the cane back where the chairs are often seen from another room. The open weave gives a long row of dining chairs a lighter presence.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Founded in New Orleans in 2016 by Scott and Lisa Rickert, Ave Home began with a shared interest in antique furniture. The collection is designed in the company’s New Orleans studio and made with manufacturing partners in Indonesia, bringing classical proportions into furniture for present-day homes. Small-batch production and hand finishing are central to its approach: carved borders, wood grain and carefully worked surfaces give familiar forms their individual character.
