Chinese Zodiac Ox Porcelain Round Box in Light Blue and Gold by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A pale blue lid frames the gold ox on this Chinese Zodiac porcelain box. The circular decorative piece pairs a calm ground color with detailed animal and botanical drawing.
“I would choose this pale blue box for a surface that needs a small focal point rather than a large ornament.”

Maker / Heritage
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings a living decorative tradition to the table. Its porcelain is glazed, fired and individually checked before decoration; the factory also maintains a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected artistic pieces. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron give that long history fresh expression, from finely drawn botanicals to architectural relief. It is this combination of technical care and imaginative decoration that gives the maker its distinctive range.
