Chinese Zodiac Rabbit Porcelain Round Box in Pink and Gold by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Pink porcelain and a gold rabbit bring a softer color note to the Chinese Zodiac box collection. The round covered form gathers its animal and botanical decoration into a small, finished object.
“I would use the pink as a quiet link to a textile or flower elsewhere in the room, keeping the rabbit box part of the whole.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings a living decorative tradition to the table. Its porcelain is glazed, fired and individually checked before decoration; the factory also maintains a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected artistic pieces. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron give that long history fresh expression, from finely drawn botanicals to architectural relief. It is this combination of technical care and imaginative decoration that gives the maker its distinctive range.
