Chinese Zodiac Sheep Porcelain Round Box in Green and Gold by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Green and gold give the Chinese Zodiac sheep box a gentle decorative richness. The porcelain lid carries its animal and botanical pattern above a compact, round body.
“I would set this green box among a few plain objects, where its gold sheep can supply the detail.”

Maker / Heritage
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings a living decorative tradition to the table. Its porcelain is glazed, fired and individually checked before decoration; the factory also maintains a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected artistic pieces. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron give that long history fresh expression, from finely drawn botanicals to architectural relief. It is this combination of technical care and imaginative decoration that gives the maker its distinctive range.
