Chinese Zodiac Tiger Porcelain Round Box in Olive Green and Gold by Vista Alegre
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Dark olive green gives the Chinese Zodiac tiger box a rich foundation for its gold motif. The round porcelain lid concentrates animal and foliage details into a compact decorative form.
“I like a darker ground for gold decoration; the tiger remains clear without needing a bright surrounding arrangement.”

Maker / Heritage
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings a living decorative tradition to the table. Its porcelain is glazed, fired and individually checked before decoration; the factory also maintains a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected artistic pieces. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron give that long history fresh expression, from finely drawn botanicals to architectural relief. It is this combination of technical care and imaginative decoration that gives the maker its distinctive range.
