Christmas Copper-Plated Cookie Cutters by Galley & Fen - Set of 6
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Six copper-plated cutters bring familiar Christmas shapes to rolled cookie dough: tree, gingerbread figure, angel, reindeer, snowflake and candy cane. Their open outlines leave room for decorating after baking, making the set a useful starting point for a shared afternoon in the kitchen.
“For decorating cookies with children, I would begin with a few clear outlines rather than complicated molds. These shapes leave space for their own ideas once the baking is finished and the cookies are cool.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Galley & Fen begins with the eye of an interior designer: founder Laurel Newton studied interior design and created the collection around the everyday objects she wanted in a home. The team develops its own designs, drawing on the useful forms of European vintage kitchens rather than simply reproducing an ornamental look. Its work with a family of artisans in India brings handmaking into those designs, with small variations that remain visible in the finished pieces. Gathered textile edges, embroidered botanical details and warm copper or brass give practical objects a presence of their own. The pleasure is in choosing something useful whose smallest details have also been considered.
