Cielo Upholstered Rattan Armchair by bali & pari
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Cushions at both seat and back distinguish the Cielo rattan armchair. Foam padding and fabric upholstery soften its natural rattan frame, while woven details and sloping arms keep the supporting structure visible.
“I would compare the seat depth with the way the chair will be used. A chair for lingering over a book asks something different from a brief extra seat.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Dust regularly with a soft brush or the gentle brush attachment of a vacuum. Wipe marks with a barely damp, soft cloth and dry promptly. Blot spills before they settle into the weave; avoid soaking, abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Protect the fibers from standing water, direct heat and prolonged strong sunlight. Vacuum upholstery gently with a soft brush, and blot spills without rubbing. Check the cushion’s care label before deeper cleaning; seek professional upholstery care for persistent marks.
Maker / Heritage
The rattan work at bali & pari begins with a material that can be shaped as well as woven. Experienced artisans in Indonesia cut, steam and bend the stems, then weave or arrange them into the finished designs. Those techniques allow a single material to form an open lattice, a tightly worked panel or a braided border. Natural differences in tone and fiber remain visible, giving the handworked pieces their individual character.
