Copper Salt and Pepper Shakers by Galley & Fen - Set of 2
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Engraved Salt and Pepper labels distinguish this pair of cylindrical copper shakers. Their polished surface brings a warm metal accent to the table, with the familiar two-piece format keeping everyday seasoning close to hand beside either plain or patterned china.
“Clearly marked shakers are a small courtesy I appreciate at a table. Keep both dry before refilling, and fill them over a tray so a simple everyday job does not scatter seasoning across the linen.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Hand wash with mild soap, lukewarm water and a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a clean, soft towel. Avoid the dishwasher, soaking, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners. Store completely dry, with a soft cloth between pieces where needed to prevent scratches. Empty before washing and dry the interiors and perforated tops completely before refilling with dry salt and pepper. Avoid damp storage and do not leave wet seasoning inside.
Maker / Heritage
Galley & Fen begins with the eye of an interior designer: founder Laurel Newton studied interior design and created the collection around the everyday objects she wanted in a home. The team develops its own designs, drawing on the useful forms of European vintage kitchens rather than simply reproducing an ornamental look. Its work with a family of artisans in India brings handmaking into those designs, with small variations that remain visible in the finished pieces. Gathered textile edges, embroidered botanical details and warm copper or brass give practical objects a presence of their own. The pleasure is in choosing something useful whose smallest details have also been considered.
