Dashiell Lidded Rattan Baskets by bali & pari - Set of 3
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Three lidded Dashiell baskets bring related woven forms together in large, medium and small sizes. Natural rattan and scalloped edges define the flared bell silhouettes, offering separate places for the items that need gathering around a room.
“I would give each size a particular job rather than simply nest them as decoration. Related baskets can organize different corners of the same room.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Dust regularly with a soft brush or the gentle brush attachment of a vacuum. Wipe marks with a barely damp, soft cloth and dry promptly. Blot spills before they settle into the weave; avoid soaking, abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Protect the fibers from standing water, direct heat and prolonged strong sunlight.
Maker / Heritage
The rattan work at bali & pari begins with a material that can be shaped as well as woven. Experienced artisans in Indonesia cut, steam and bend the stems, then weave or arrange them into the finished designs. Those techniques allow a single material to form an open lattice, a tightly worked panel or a braided border. Natural differences in tone and fiber remain visible, giving the handworked pieces their individual character.
