Dishwasher-safe on the top rack. For gentle everyday care, wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge, rinse well and dry promptly with a soft towel. Avoid abrasive pads and cleaners, and set pieces down gently to protect their rims. Do not use in an oven or microwave.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Encanto adds color to the cast-metal tradition: enamel and gold-tone details emphasize the curves and edges, making the form as much a part of the table as the food it holds.
