Encanto Carola Cream and White Enameled Serving Bowl by Beatriz Ball - Small
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The small Carola bowl has a flowing rim that gives cream-and-white enamel a soft, irregular outline. A gold-tone edge defines the food-safe serving surface, making the compact aluminum-alloy form useful for nuts, sweets or a small accompaniment beside drinks. Its restrained color can join both plain white pieces and more colorful Encanto designs.
“A little bowl within easy reach can be more hospitable to me than a great bowl placed too far away. Carola's small form gives a modest serving a lovely shape without making it difficult to share.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Encanto adds color to the cast-metal tradition: enamel and gold-tone details emphasize the curves and edges, making the form as much a part of the table as the food it holds.
