Encanto Carola Cream and White Enameled Serving Platter by Beatriz Ball - Large
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Carola's large round platter gives a generous white serving area a flowing cream-colored edge and gold-tone outline. The 16.5-inch enameled aluminum-alloy form is food safe and suited to appetizers, desserts or an arranged main course. Its sculptural border brings interest to the table without a printed pattern beneath the food.
“I like a large platter to look generous without being completely filled. A little open space around the food allows Carola's flowing edge to do its part in the presentation.”

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Encanto adds color to the cast-metal tradition: enamel and gold-tone details emphasize the curves and edges, making the form as much a part of the table as the food it holds.
