Care & Ownership
Dishwasher-safe. For gentle everyday care, wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge, rinse well and dry promptly with a soft towel. Avoid abrasive pads and cleaners, and set pieces down gently to protect their rims. Do not use in an oven or microwave. Empty the tray before cleaning and keep food off the decorative surface.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
