Equestrian Bit Platinum-Rimmed Bone China Scalloped Charger by Vagabond House
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A scalloped border and platinum rim frame this 13-inch bone china charger. The pewter equestrian bit supplies the pattern's defining detail, giving a dinner plate a shaped white surround when the place setting is layered.
“Before setting a whole table, I lay out one complete place. A charger changes the space needed for flatware and glasses more than an empty tabletop suggests.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Hand wash gently with mild dish soap and a soft sponge, keeping pieces apart in the sink. Rinse and dry promptly, taking care around pewter details and metallic rims. Avoid soaking, abrasives, silver polish, the dishwasher, oven and microwave. Protect from sudden temperature changes and use soft separators when stacking.
Maker / Heritage
Vagabond House began in 1986 by turning antique silver tableware into jewelry and table accents. The Haas and Hardy families focused the company on tableware after acquiring it in 2004, and three generations now contribute to the Sierra Madre, California business. Its designers look closely at nature, old architecture and antiques, then work with carvers, artisans and fabricators to bring those ideas into useful objects. In the pewter work, details such as the veins of an oak leaf or the textured skin of a pear are carved and polished into the form. That attention to small, recognizable things gives the pieces much of their character at the table.
