European Washed Linen Duvet Cover by Peacock Alley
European Washed Linen has the softened drape and natural, lightly irregular texture that make flax so inviting. A fine double-stitched line and narrow flange give the duvet cover shape without making the cloth look rigid.
Corner ties and a hidden closure keep the cover practical. Depending on the selected size and set option, customers receive the duvet cover alone or the duvet with two coordinated shams, never an assumed combined purchase.
“I love linen when it is freshly washed and allowed to settle naturally, rather than being pressed into perfect stiffness. The texture feels especially beautiful beside antique wood and patterned blankets. It gives a bedroom a quiet, lived-in ease.”

Maker / Heritage
Peacock Alley was founded in 1973 by Mary Ella Gabler and remains a family-owned American linen house. Its beginnings reflect the belief that bedding and bath textiles deserve the same consideration given to fine furnishings.
The company works with established textile producers internationally and continues to cut, sew and embroider selected pieces in its Dallas workroom. Its enduring approach brings thoughtful materials and traditional domestic comfort into daily life.
