Final Sale - Encanto Amelia Cream and White Enameled Serving Bowl by Beatriz Ball - Medium
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Amelia's scalloped, fluted sides give this medium bowl a soft sculptural outline. Cream and white enamel and a gold-tone rim frame salads, side dishes or a generous serving of snacks. The food-safe aluminum-alloy body has an 11.75-inch width and enough depth for food that is best served in a bowl rather than spread across a platter.
“I appreciate a serving bowl that looks finished before anything is put into it. Amelia has enough character that plain surrounding plates and the colors of the food can complete the table without another decorative layer.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
Encanto adds color to the cast-metal tradition: enamel and gold-tone details emphasize the curves and edges, making the form as much a part of the table as the food it holds.
