Floral Trellis Round Scalloped Cotton Placemat by Frances Fields Home
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Floral Trellis brings the order of a garden structure to a round scalloped placemat, combining a hand-illustrated watercolor by artist Elayna Johnson with a substantial table-linen construction. The design was created specifically for Frances Fields Home and printed on heavyweight 100% cotton, then finished with 100% linen bias trim. At 16½ inches round, the placemat gives each setting a generous frame while the trellis motif introduces pattern without losing the clarity of the scalloped shape. Made in the USA, it is the sort of printed linen that can carry a table before flowers or serving pieces are added.
“A trellis is such a useful garden idea because it gives abundance somewhere to grow. I think the same is true on a table. This pattern has enough structure to make lunch feel considered, yet the flowers keep it from becoming formal. It belongs on the table whenever the garden itself begins to feel full.”
