French Swirl Blue Glass Wine Glasses by Beatriz Ball - Set of 4
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The smaller French Swirl wine glass combines blue glass with a spiral optic bowl and shaped stem. Its six-inch height makes a compact, decorative place for a drink, distinct from the collection's larger all-purpose goblet. The set of four can carry a little color through an otherwise simple dinner setting.
“Blue and clear glass are enough decoration for many a table in my view. A quiet cloth and simply arranged flowers let the little wine glasses feel deliberate, without asking everything around them to match.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Handwash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and a soft sponge, keeping pieces apart in the sink. Rinse and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. Support the bowl and stem together rather than twisting them in opposite directions while drying; store upright on the base with space between rims.
Maker / Heritage
Cuban-born designer Beatriz Ball began working with metal artisans outside Mexico City in 1991. Her signature metalware is still made one piece at a time in the brand’s own foundry in Mexico: sand casting gives the forms their character, and successive hand-polishing stages bring out the alloy’s silvery luster. More than twelve pairs of hands take part in the making. The appeal is that combination of expressive shape and useful purpose, with the warmth of handwork and none of silver’s routine tarnish polishing.
French Swirl brings the same affection for a lively table to handcrafted glass. Twisting forms and clear stems let light, color and the drink itself become part of the setting.
