Genie in a Bottle is a hand-painted ceramic vase whose indigo decoration draws on historic floral ornament without reading as a reproduction. Designed in London and handcrafted in southern Spain, the ivory ceramic body is painted with lead-free natural pigments, giving the blue pattern a slightly human irregularity rather than a mechanically repeated finish.
The vase is made from local clay, hand-painted, and sun-dried in small batches. Its compact scale makes the decoration as important as whatever it holds.
