An allover floral field and an ornate border give Herstmonceux a traditional outline in a softly varied palette. Dusty pink, mustard, camel and sky blue sit among charcoal, light gray and off-white details, bringing several useful room colors together in one pattern. The polypropylene face is machine woven in Turkey, with a 0.31-inch pile and a 0.5-inch overall thickness.
Choose among rectangles, runners, round and square formats to suit the furniture arrangement. The floral design can provide a starting point for a room’s smaller accents, while a plainer sofa or bedcover allows its border and changing colors to remain visible.

Care & Ownership
Vacuum regularly with gentle suction, avoiding aggressive brush action at the bound edges. Blot fresh spills with a dry white cloth or white paper towel; lift solid residue carefully with a blunt edge. For a remaining local mark, use a very small amount of mild dish soap in cold water as directed by the supplier, testing a hidden area first. Dab with a clean sponge without soaking, then blot away moisture with a dry towel and allow the area to dry fully.
Use professional rug cleaning for a thorough clean; do not machine wash or soak. Rotate periodically to distribute wear and light exposure, and use a rug pad suitable for the floor. Check door clearance against the full rug and pad together.
Maker / Heritage
Hauteloom’s roots are in Gaziantep, one of Anatolia’s great carpet-making centers. Founder Moe Ibrisim brought his knowledge of that trade to the United States in 2002. With his brother Nihad, an experienced rug professional in Turkey, he went on to open rug shops in Georgia before establishing Hauteloom in 2017. The background gives the brand a particular meeting of perspectives: Turkish rug knowledge, a close understanding of American rooms, and an interest in both the familiar language of pattern and the texture of natural fibers.
Herstmonceux uses machine weaving in Turkey to carry a detailed floral field and repeating borders across the surface. Its medium pile keeps the decorative pattern distinct from the deep texture of a shag rug.
