Horrible Idea Needlepoint Pillow Cover by Furbish Studio - 9 × 15 in.
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
A cheerful geometric border frames a knowingly mischievous invitation on this rectangular needlepoint pillow cover. Bright color, blue lettering and a red velvet reverse bring the humor into a layered sitting room, where the small scale makes an easy accent on a chair.
“I would tuck this into a reading chair where the invitation can be discovered, rather than letting it disappear behind a larger cushion.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Do not machine wash. Remove dust gently with a soft brush or a vacuum upholstery attachment on low suction. For small marks, blot carefully with a clean, barely damp cloth; test a concealed area first and avoid rubbing or soaking the embroidery and velvet. Allow to air-dry completely away from direct heat. Keep prolonged direct sunlight off the fabric, and store clean and dry without crushing the pile.
Maker / Heritage
Furbish Studio gives traditional needlepoint a contemporary voice through bold color and sayings chosen to start a conversation. The pillows combine precision machine embroidery with a cotton velvet reverse, so the lettering remains crisp against the decorative borders. Florals, checks and stripes do more than frame a joke: they give each small accent a place among the fabrics already in a room. That balance of familiar pattern and personal wit makes a pillow feel chosen for its owner, whether it marks a shared joke or offers a thoughtful word.
