Care & Ownership
Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve the colors. Dust gently with a soft brush or vacuum at low suction through a protective screen, without dragging across the pile. Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth; avoid rubbing or soaking the patterned fabric. Have the cover professionally dry cleaned when needed, and remove the insert first where the cover opens. Fluff the insert by hand and rotate the pillow occasionally so it wears evenly. Follow the insert’s own care label for cleaning.
Maker / Heritage
Canvello’s family business spans three generations, with its roots in the rug trade. That textile knowledge carries into its pillows: aged rug surfaces are preserved as usable fragments, while patterned cloth is chosen for the relationship between color, weave and scale. In ikat cloth, selected areas of yarn resist the dye before weaving, so the pattern is built into the textile rather than simply printed on top. Small shifts in alignment are part of its distinctive softened outline.
