Ivory Porcelain Soup Bowls by Vista Alegre - Set of 4
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Ivory’s porcelain soup bowls bring pale geometric relief to a rounded individual serving form. Offered as four, they give a bowl-based meal the same considered decoration as a full table service, with depth that distinguishes them from the collection’s rimmed soup plates.
“A deep individual bowl brings a different possibility to the service from a rimmed soup plate. I would choose it for the kinds of meals enjoyed with a bowl, a spoon and time to sit at the table.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

MAKER / HERITAGE
Founded in Ílhavo, Portugal, in 1824, Vista Alegre brings two centuries of decorative knowledge to the art of setting a table and furnishing a home. Its porcelain tradition combines technical precision with artistic work, including a specialist hand-painting workshop for selected pieces; crystal and glass extend that vocabulary into the bar and the room beyond. Collaborations with designers such as Oscar de la Renta and Sam Baron keep the house’s heritage in conversation with contemporary life. The result is a breadth of patterns, forms and disciplines from which to build a service or collection with lasting personal character.
