J52G Oiled Oak Rocking Chair by FDB Møbler
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Børge Mogensen's J52G rocking chair interprets the Windsor-inspired J52 outline with a curved rocking base. Tall spindles and shaped arms give the back an architectural presence, while the runners lend the object a gentle sense of movement even when still. In nature-oiled oak, its grain and construction remain visible, giving the chair a direct relationship with other wooden furnishings. The shape is as expressive in a corner as it is in use.
“A rocking chair has a way of giving a room a particularly hospitable corner. I would place the natural oak J52G near a window with a reading lamp and a small table. Its tall back provides structure, while the curved runners make the scene feel wonderfully lived in.”
