J82 Oak and Paper Cord Lounge Chair in Smoked Oil by FDB Møbler
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The J82 lounge chair brings Jørgen Bækmark's recognizable wood-and-paper-cord language into a lower, more relaxed silhouette. The smoked-oiled oak deepens the color of the frame, bringing out the contrast between the timber and the woven seat. Its broader proportions and lower seat height distinguish it from an upright dining chair, making it a natural choice for conversation corners, libraries, and sitting rooms where comfort and visual openness matter together.
“I like a low chair beside a bookshelf because it gives the room a place to settle without demanding a large upholstered piece. The darker timber of this J82 would sit beautifully near old bindings and brass lamps, and the cord seat adds a welcome change of texture.”
