J83B Oak and Paper Cord Backless Bench by FDB Møbler
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
The J83B is a low, backless bench with a deliberately spare oak frame and a woven paper-cord seat. Jørgen Bækmark's proportions make it a useful movable accent, providing an extra perch without visually interrupting the room. In nature-lacquered oak, the timber has a clean finish that contrasts pleasantly with the texture of the cord. The bench is broad enough to read as its own piece of furniture yet light in expression.
“A low bench is one of those objects I move from room to room as a house changes with the seasons. The J83B would work at the edge of a room, where the woven seat can be noticed, or temporarily beside a conversation grouping without blocking the view.”
