Pomelo Casa’s medium Lebrillo Bowl is an 8-inch hand-painted terracotta bowl patterned with traditional Spanish bird-or-pomegranate motifs in sky blue. Its 3¾-inch height gives it the depth needed for pasta, ramen, salads, snacks, or fruit, making this one of the collection’s most flexible everyday forms. The pale blue colorway keeps the generous bowl visually fresh while allowing the hand-painted decoration to remain distinct. Handmade in southern Spain, every piece carries natural variations in brushwork and glaze.

“There is something particularly pleasant about a deep bowl in a pale color—the food becomes the center of it. I would use this one often enough that it would rarely make it back to the cupboard.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership

Before first use, wash by hand in hot soapy water, rinse, and allow to air dry. The bowl is dishwasher safe, although alternating with hand washing will help protect the hand-finished glaze from the effects of constant machine washing. Microwave and refrigerator safe; do not use in the oven. Small differences in brushwork and glaze are natural to these handmade ceramics.

Maker / Heritage

Founded by interior designer Francesca de la Fuente, Pomelo Casa grew from the ceramics she knew while growing up in southern Spain. The collection is handmade and hand-painted in a small family-run workshop in Granada, using traditional Lebrillo motifs and techniques the maker traces back more than five centuries. Formed from terracotta clay and finished by hand, each piece carries the slight variations in brushwork and glaze that distinguish ceramics made this way.
