Lebrillo Hand-Painted Terracotta Pitcher in Blue by Pomelo Casa - 10″
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Pomelo Casa’s large Lebrillo Pitcher brings the collection’s traditional Spanish bird-or-pomegranate motifs to an approximately 10-inch terracotta form in classic blue. Its larger scale is suited to lemonade or gazpacho at the table and has enough height and visual presence for a generous arrangement of flowers. The traditional blue palette gives the substantial piece an easy familiarity while the hand-painted finish keeps it from feeling formal or factory-perfect. Handmade in southern Spain, each pitcher varies subtly in brushwork and glaze.
“Blue gives a large pitcher wonderful authority without making it precious. Filled with lemonade it belongs at lunch; filled with branches or flowers it can hold its own in the room long after the table has been cleared.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Care & Ownership
Before first use, wash by hand in hot soapy water, rinse, and allow to air dry. Microwave and refrigerator safe; do not use in the oven. Small differences in brushwork and glaze are natural to these handmade ceramics.
Maker / Heritage
Founded by interior designer Francesca de la Fuente, Pomelo Casa grew from the ceramics she knew while growing up in southern Spain. The collection is handmade and hand-painted in a small family-run workshop in Granada, using traditional Lebrillo motifs and techniques the maker traces back more than five centuries. Formed from terracotta clay and finished by hand, each piece carries the slight variations in brushwork and glaze that distinguish ceramics made this way.
