Lebrillo Hand-Painted Terracotta Small Bowl in Lilac by Pomelo Casa - 5¾″
Available to Ship: 3-7 Business Days
Pomelo Casa’s Lebrillo Small Bowl brings traditional Spanish bird-or-pomegranate motifs to a 5¾-inch terracotta form hand-painted in lilac. Standing 2½ inches high, it is proportioned for granola and fruit, a small salad or dessert, or olives and nuts for sharing. The soft color makes the folk pattern feel fresh without diminishing its graphic character. Handmade and hand-painted in southern Spain, every bowl carries slight differences in brushwork and glaze.
“This is a lovely size for the foods that make up the edges of a meal: fruit, yogurt, olives, something sweet. Lilac gives those ordinary moments a little individuality without turning them into an occasion.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage
Founded by interior designer Francesca de la Fuente, Pomelo Casa grew from the ceramics she knew while growing up in southern Spain. The collection is handmade and hand-painted in a small family-run workshop in Granada, using traditional Lebrillo motifs and techniques the maker traces back more than five centuries. Formed from terracotta clay and finished by hand, each piece carries the slight variations in brushwork and glaze that distinguish ceramics made this way.
